O que seria apenas uma visita de primeira viagem ao Alaska para a modelo e autora de livros publicados no Brasil e Estados Unidos, com o Mais recente best seller vendido na loja da Amazon, One minute is a long time; Gizele Tavares ao parar para uma foto turística in Beluga Point, teve a sorte de cruzar com o Mais renomado fotógrafo de esqui magazine no Alaska, Simon Evans, que ao ver de longe a modelo que já foi Miss no Brasil 2015 ganhando a coroa de mais bela do estado, não perdeu a oportunidade de se apresentar a mesma. Ambos trocaram contato, o que trouxe a top de volta ao Alaska uma semana depois para assumir a capa das revistas mais bem articuladas do estado de maior extensão territorial dos Estados Unidos conhecido como  « "Seward's Nevera".

  “When I was photographing the mountains at Beluga Point, off the coast of Cook Inlet, south of Anchorage, Alaska, I saw the most beautiful woman and thought to myself how she looked like an American Indian, I ran up to her not to miss the opportunity. to meet her, after all, luck doesn't knock on the door twice.  We exchanged contact information, but Gizele was traveling back to New York the next day.  So I invited her to come back to take pictures for the magazine and she accepted, it was very lucky!!!  She started training for the fire department a week later, a great immigrant woman who will help save lives in our country as a future FDNY paramedic.  It was a very blessed day in Alaska, the day was perfect for photos, there was no wind, and like magic, the result of the photos was so amazing that the scenery was surreal.  Gisele is enlightened and working with her was pure magic, I can't wait to do it again!”  Simon.

Depois das fotos, Gizele foi convidada por um grupo nativos Alaskan e pelo fotógrafo Simon para sua primeira pesca in Homer, e foi uma grande surpresa para todos quando a modelo pescou 100 LB Halibut “ Estava olhando as montanhas e não me sentia muito bem, vomitei duas vezes, maresia, então me sentei, quando escutei Simon gritar, “Gizele, run, run… sua vara está puxando, there is a big Fish”!!! Foi preciso duas pessoas me ajudar a tirar da água aquele grande peixe, foi muito mágico, porque o que pedi a Deus quando orava em direção ao mar era um peixe muito grande, foi mágico! Relatou gizele “
